Couriers hand parcels over in person at a physical address, and a signature is often needed. That's why the delivery address, like the pickup address, must be a full street address with a building number, not a PO box.
What address should I use instead of a PO box?
- Home address: with the street, building number, floor and postcode.
- Work address: with the company name, so the courier can easily find the recipient during business hours.
- A relative's or friend's address: someone who can receive the parcel for you.
- A courier service point: where available, the recipient can ask to collect the parcel from a nearby point.
Add the right phone number
Give the recipient's mobile number in the destination country. It helps the courier if they need to get in touch about the delivery.
If you enter a PO box
Your shipment may be delayed or returned, and extra charges may apply for an address change or a return. If you notice after booking, let us know straight away through the contact form. See how to change the delivery address.

Tracking & Delivery
Tracking says delivered but I do not have the parcel. What should I do?
First check with neighbours, the building concierge or anyone at the address, and look for a delivery notice. If you can't find it, let City Sender know straight away, ideally within 24–48 hours. We'll open an investigation with the courier and, if the parcel isn't found, a compensation claim.

What happens if I am not home when the courier arrives?
If the courier finds no one home at delivery, it may try again or leave the parcel at a service point. Let City Sender know straight away so it can request a new attempt, which may be charged. If the parcel isn't collected in time, it goes back to the sender.
