You pay for your shipment at the end of the online booking. The collection is scheduled as soon as your payment is confirmed.
Which payment methods are available?
- Card (Visa, Mastercard): payment is confirmed straight away.
- IRIS: pay directly from your bank.
- Google Pay and Apple Pay: pay quickly from your phone.
- Bank transfer: your order is activated once we receive proof of the transfer. See how to pay by bank transfer.
Secure payments
Card payments are processed through the secure systems of Piraeus Bank and Viva Wallet. City Sender doesn't store card details.
What if my card is declined or I want to pay later?
Ask for a payment link through the contact form. You'll receive it by email and can pay whenever suits you, by card, IRIS or Google Pay. Your payment is confirmed automatically as soon as it's complete.
Paying by bank transfer?
Send us the proof of payment before the collection date. Otherwise the collection is postponed until we receive it. Any bank charges for the transfer are paid by the customer.
Is credit available for businesses?
Yes. Business customers who meet certain criteria can apply for credit, subject to an agreement.

When do I receive an invoice or receipt for my shipment?
We email your receipt or invoice once your shipment has been completed. For an invoice, enter your billing details and VAT number (ΑΦΜ) when booking. If you forgot, ask for it before the document is issued.

I paid by bank transfer: when is my booking confirmed?
Your booking is confirmed once the amount reaches our account. Email your proof of payment to info@citysender.gr with your order number before the pickup date. Once we have checked the payment, we will email you a confirmation.

What are CityPoints and how do I use them?
CityPoints are credit you earn with a City Sender account: 2% cashback on every successful shipment payment. 1,000 CityPoints are worth €1. You can redeem them from 5,000 CityPoints upwards, for up to 50% of the value of a shipment. They don't expire.
